PORCOLOMBIA ANNOUNCES NEW NATIONAL EXECUTIVE-BOARD
NEW YORK- PorColombia announces the official appointment of its new National Executive Board. The first meeting of the newly elected board took place on July 12, 2009, where each member presented its goal proposal. The team agreed on a work schedule for the 2009-2010 season and on its core department goals.

The appointed members and their titles are as follows:
• President - Marcela Sarmiento
• Vice-President - Yurany Arboleda
• Secretary - Jessica Alzate
• Treasurer - Andres Ramirez
• IT Director - Andres Castellanos
• Director of Chapter Development and Advancement - Angela Londoño
• Director of Public Relations - Katherine Chacon
• Director of Alumni Relations - Gustavo Garcia
• Editor-in-Chief - Carlos Macias

For the new term, the National E-Board has expressed interest to a more centralized administration with the emphasis on greater chapter support and uniformity as an organization.

PorColombia is a student-run organization that creates a network of individuals interested in Colombia working together to raise awareness about the country. Through academic, social, cultural and philanthropic initiatives, PorColombia inspires and motivate members to contribute to a better Colombia.
